My comments on tutoring Writing Skills : I took AP English in high school as well as a variety of composition and literature classes in college.

I am currently pursuing a degree in secondary education with a focus on history from Johnson State College. In the past I have worked as a substitute teacher for all grades as well as a pre-k teacher at a daycare for 3 years. I enjoy working with youth, ever since I was in college I have had jobs where I worked with children. I think their fun, and great to be around. I earned a BS in Aeronautics and have completed some graduate work in aerodynamics and meteorology. In addition to having given approximately 3000 hours of instruction in aviation subjects, I have authored several textbooks on aircraft design and construction. I've been both a research pilot and a captain on a cargo airline.
My teaching style is straightforward - proceed from the simple to the complex. It appears most subjects require this approach. I find it both helpful and important to try and relate situations encountered in day-to-day life to the specific subject problems.
