Through my teaching style I emphasize hands-on learning by using manipulatives. I also use modeling and repetition. I believe the best way to learn something is to practice doing it yourself over and over again using various methods. Practice makes permanent! I enjoy incorporating fun and games into education because I believe learning should be fun!
I graduated in December 2013 with a Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. My specializations are in elementary education (prek-6th grade) and all-level special education. As an Graduate of Applied Science of Industrial Instrumentation. I was extremely driven to accomplish a long sought after goal of completing college while shift working and raising a family of four sons all on my own. I graduated Phi Theta Kappa, National Dean's List, and was offered internship in three different countries. China, Europe and Austrila. I taught all four of my son's to walk, talk, read, count, and finally socialites.
