I would say that all people are capable of learning and improving their abilities, knowledge, and skill. My experience has been that if a child, youth, or adult is given the space in which to learn, and introduced to material in a patient manner, in the style that works for them (be that through explanation or visual learning, etc) they will take the initiative to learn and grow at the pace and direction which works for them. I have earned a BS in Biology with a Chemistry minor and an MS in Science Education. I also possess my Initial Educator Certificate in 7-12 Biology. I graduated from St. Joseph's College in spring 2009 with a BS in biology. I graduated with a 3.2 gpa. I played softball for 4 years in college and was ranked 18th in the nation in my junior year. I did research in molecular biology and wrote a thesis on polycarbonate disruption of the endocrine system. I focued on bisphenol-a and its potential disruption in children.
