As a substitute teacher I have held long term teaching assignments in 2nd grade, middle school reading, elementary special education, and high school. I have held Preferred Substitute Teacher List status in Michigan and Ohio.
My desire has always been to be a teacher. I enjoy working with children to reach their greatest potential. Everyone can learn but we may not all get there the same way or at the same time. Some children are not able to reach their potential in the classroom for many different reasons, they may need more individualized attention, they may be more visual, hands on, etc. Some children may just need more time.
