I bring a lot of energy to the classroom and ensure that I am over-prepared for each lesson. I enjoy involving every student in a classroom setting and encourage an active, open learning environment. I also believe it is a very valuable experience to be able to work with students one-on-one. I like to work with each student to figure out his or her individual learning style and needs. Though it may not be applicable for this position, I try to plan group activities when possible, so that students can learn from one another and help each other work through problems.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a college graduate I was motivated to find a job and begin my career. I have decided that after three and a half years of hard work through school and a gratifying 3 years of labratory experience (including 6 months of post-graduate full time work) that I am not ready for a career in chemistry. I have decided to slow the pace down and enjoy life for a while. I have lived in Aspen since December and worked for the SkiCo for that time. I would love to enjoy the summertime out here and to enhance your child's understanding of chemistry or other scientific areas. I am a passionate, driven, ambitious learner and teacher. I graduated Valedictorian of my High School with a 4.0 GPA and Summa Cum Laude from College with 191 credits and a GPA of 3.92. I completed a double major and the Honors Program as well as two semesters studying abroad in 5 years of undergraduate study.
