I just completed my practicum last fall and was active in a 10th grade World History class for about 10 hours a week. During the summer of 2011 I was employed at girl scout camp in Lake George where I planned and taught History lessons for our weekly programs. A Little Bit About Me...

For the past six years I have taught or tutored even while working on my own higher education. I have taught or tutored every age level between five and sixty-five and every skill level (including special needs), and though I am most comfortable with middle schoolers or college students, I like working with others as well. My first career was as a Registered Professional Nurse (NYS licensure) for 25 years. During those years, I kept up my interest in various fields of math, such as Abstract Algebra, Differential equations, and topology. I was especially interested in algebraically-capable computer math programs.
