A Little Bit About Me...

Since the age of six I have studied classical piano, recently finishing my piano studies at the bachelors degree level. I am currently finishing a general education science course and will receive my official diploma in August. I have taught many students from home as well as in a studio at a local music shop, on campus, and at churches. Teaching and accompanying soloists; instrumentalists, vocalists,choirs, and bands have been most of my work experience since graduating highschool six years ago. I minored in business management and believe that music teachers should act professionally and respectfully just as any other business person.

This provides the assistance needed to develop the proper rapport and educational needs of the student ensuring parents stay involved. Interaction is a required form of instruction for any student so to understand and establish the roles of teacher and student. After obtaining a Masters of Science with a Minor in Education, teaching has become my life pursuit. Even when working for a large Biotech firm, I have tutored for one year in public schools during my lunch hour. As the volunteer leader for our 500 person campus, I am proud to say I spear-pointed the adoption of our nearby high-needs school. Working in the field along with my education has given me a scientific, mathematic, and data analytical background. After working for 2 years obtaining industry experience I took 80 hours teaching pre-service training last June.
