A Little Bit About Me...

My objective in attaining a Ph.D, was to create the opportunity for myself to teach Biology related courses at any level. My graduate school experience was a fantastic springboard for gaining experience in teaching an array of biology courses. As tutor for an academic excellence program, I worked with students, in small group settings. We explored complex material at depth, and inspired ownership of the learning process. While I do not have a bachelor's degree, through my training as a certified veterinary technician and subsequent employment in both clinical and shelter settings, I have gained strong aptitudes for science and writing skills.
