I worked with a variety of ages from k-12. My most recent experience has been with students in elementary school. I worked for a semester teaching children about sustainable practices and the benefits of buying produce from local farms. While I am most comfortable with high school students, I have great communication skills and can work well with all children.

Dyslexia is one of my top subjects! I have training and certification in multisensory learning techniques. I apply some of these techniques to even on-level students if they have a weaknesses in reading, writing, and/or spelling.

Education is a large part of who I am. I have earned two Bachelor degrees, BS in Human Development and Family Studies as well as a BA in Sociology. I initially worked in the field of social work upon graduation which gave me great insight into family life, sociological influences, and the impact of socio-economic factors on education. A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently a student at East Stroudsburg University, studying special education and psychology. I am just finished my first semester of student teaching and will be completing the second one in the fall, graduating in December. I have completed several hours tutoring for college of the past 3 years. I have also had two student teaching placements already.
