I have tutored Music Theory, Aural Skills, and Music History for two and a half years at Adelphi University. My G.P.A. in Music Theory was a 3.4 and my G.P.A. for Aural Skills was a 4.0. I was recommended by the former Department Chair-Person to tutor a student with special needs. I have also taught lessons primarily for trumpet, but also for tuba, trombone, euphonium, baritone, and French horn.
My teaching style could be described as fun, supportive, caring, and disciplined. By disciplined I don't mean tough, hard, or mean. Students are assigned work that they are expected to complete, although it won't be too time consuming. All work is intended to improve the student's abilities in the field that I will be tutoring them. Improvement is encouraged and positively reinforced.

Since graduating from Queens College with my degree in Mathematics and Elementary and Early Childhood Education I have had the opportunity to work in many different areas of education and taking on many different roles. I have tutored students from grades kindergarten through 12th grade and adults in Special Education, Elementary Education, Mathematic, English, and Spanish I&II. I have gone on complete my Masters Degree at Dowling College in Special Education as well as completing an ESL certificate program in Costa Rica.
