In the past I have used illustrations, acted out scenes from battles, utilized initialisms, and made up songs to help students learn concepts. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe each student can learn and it’s my responsibility to find how each one learns best. So much of it is about instilling confidence in the student that he or she is intelligent and capable of mastering the subject. I have been very successful at this and have often had short tutoring assignments: once we discover what is keeping a student from grasping the subject, fixing it is easy and then the student can proceed on their own with or without the help of a parent.
