I recently finished teaching ESL grades K-12 in a temporary leave assignment from May 2013 to January 2014. During this six month leave I have administered and scored NYSESLAT and LAB-R. I have also introduced common core curriculum at the elementary school level using Castle Learning. While I volunteered there I helped many of them with there homework as well as extra reading and writing to help improve those skills. I found that my psychology major as well as my education and english minors were very useful and helpful to help tutor in all subjects.
I love working with children. I was involved in girl scouts from first grade all the way to 12th grade and in those years I learned a lot of leadership skills.
