A Little Bit About Me...

I have earned a bachelor degree in Chemistry and am currently in a PhD program in Pharmaceutical Science. As an undergraduate I had the opportunity to tutor my peers in both science and writing courses. As a general chemistry tutor, I was expected to communicate lecture materials in a new or different way, as well as to assist in problem-solving efforts for students who were struggling. I was also the teaching assistant for a freshman writing course. As a graduate student I have been put in charge of a teaching laboratory. In this current role, I am expected to develop and deliver pre-laboratory presentations, field questions and grade writing and practical assignments.
