It is difficult for me to say which age of student I love working with because each student I have worked with from age 6 - 25 has been very rewarding. I am very patient and work diligently to find creative strategies and approaches to teaching. I believe that all children should be encouraged to meet their potential by gentle encouragement and opportunities for self-discovery.
As an educator, I have had many opportunities to work with various different students. I have earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education and a master's degree in teaching with an emphasis in learning disabilities. As the eldest daughter of a teacher, it was instilled in me from a young age that I should strive to excel in my educational pursuits as well as other endeavors. Thus, I pursued the highest level of education possible, the doctorate, and also have continued to be a lifelong learner in many fields of study. Though my university degrees have been in the field of music, I have gained vast knowledge in many disciplines through my studies, travels and experience. A Little Bit About Me...

I try to make the subjects fun for them. For example i bring out cubes, candy, or fruits for math problems so they can visually see the mathamatical problem. If its science I try to make 3D projects so they can better understand, for example the solar system. I try to get there intrest so they can have fun and not be bored and feel like its a waist of time. I know everyone learns in different ways and I understand that because im the same way. Im very patient, and very easy going. My goal is to give them the education they need to succeed in life.
What more better experience then to start at home by helping my little brother and sister. For the past five years I have tutored my brother and sister in many different subjects. I have done math, reading, science,history. Basically all elementary subjects.I am Bilingual and speak both English, and Spanish fluently.
