My teaching style will vary according to the task at hand. For example, in teaching or tutoring basic, knowledge-based subjects, my approach is more structured and gear towards building knowledge and mastery of the subjects at hand. In preparing students for educational success, my style is adjusted to the student. That is, every student is different and unique, and will demonstrate his or her own natural learning abilities. So far, I have gained insight into the inquisitive and intellectual critique of humanity in studying anthropology at the undergraduate level. My studies opened me to living as well as working abroad, excavating archaeological sites in Chile to teaching PE and history in Honduras. I tutored students ages 7-53 in subjects such as English as a second language, history, cultural anthropology, and Spanish. Teaching in Honduras culminated my tutoring experiences in a formalized, calendar based lesson planning.
