Over 25 years of teaching experience (all grade levels ~ from preschool to university graduate level courses). My doctoral work in Educational Psychology has given me a unique advantage in incorporating learning theory with applied teaching techniques. My clinical psychology experience and educational background has prepared me well for all forms of educational assessment. My post-Master's reading education work and research keeps me current on how best to diagnose and remediate reading comprehension and fluidity concerns. As an assistant psychology professor at the community college level, I am currently conducting my doctoral dissertation research on reading comprehension for this student population.

My ability to break things down to a level where students can understand more thoroughly has always been a string point for me. On the recent term assessment for Charlottesville City Schools my children scored an 86% average.
