I have recently attained a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Mississippi State University. The reason I chose this degree was that it gave me an opportunity to learn all aspects of a human being. My first concentration was science. This gave me an understanding on how the body is developed. The next concentration was social work. This would help me gain knowledge on how to deal with families, and education, so I could teach. I believe all children have the ability to learn. I strive to accommodate each child's unique learning style and cherish the accomplishments in learning new things. I like to create imagination, yet keep children focused on and on task.

After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in English, I married and worked at support jobs while helping to raise our two children. Upon finding myself a single parent, I decided to return to school and pursue my passion for learning and working with children by obtaining my Masters in Special Education. I have since had the opportunity to work with general education students while teaching Middle School English.. From there I have worked with alternative, at-risk students, emotionally disturbed students and physically disabled students. During the last 9 1/2 years I have taught English, reading, science, social studies and math. My philosophy of education is a student centered one. I have am very good in math and chemistry and enjoy showing students how to do it. I am a very patient person and have good capablilties of teaching people. I will teach students in whatever manner best helps them and ensures they will do well in the class. I major in math and chemistry in college. I took up to calculus. I have tutored numerous students through out college and after. I am very good at math and chemistry and enjoy tutoring. I also have trained over a thousands soldiers in the miltary preparing them for basic training and AIT. I am very good at teaching and training students/soldiers. I also made straight A's in math and sciences in high school.
