A Little Bit About Me...

I currently work as a professional science/health writer, and I have a keen grasp of literature comprehension, grammar, and composition. I have tutored students in English, math, and science. Additionally, I have volunteered as a soccer coach, Sunday school teacher, and "Hands-On Science" instructor in the classroom. I previously taught private swimming lessons and piano lessons for children.
I believe the key to academic success is ensuring the student feels a sense of accomplishment and pride in self. My method of teaching focuses on determining the best learning style and beginning with lessons that will bring about success, and then challenging the student gradually.
