A Little Bit About Me...

No person learns identically to anyone else, therefore I approach pupils from their learning styles. I engage them, finding out what methods have worked and get a quick generalized understanding of how they learn. I challenge students to their frustration level (Piaget) and modify the situation to ensure success with clear possibilities to expand and learn more and in different ways. Throughout my four years of attending, I have had a lot of experience teaching through my practicum classes and through student teaching. I have taught students from grades K-5 and have taught small groups and large groups.

Students who struggle with learning may just be not interested in what is being taught.
