During my years attending UMass Dartmouth, I recieved my Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with a minor in Business Administration. But I also gained alot of experience working with children. I tutored elementary age students in the star program and college students at my campus job in the Unity House. I also was the coordinator for the New Bedford Speech Academy. A Little Bit About Me...

I love working with children of all ages. Children can learn very fast by talking, playing games and if properly taught they can remember in the long term. I am here to help children of all ages from english to math. I am very easy going, become a little kid with a child and am always smiley. I have a goods ways of explaining basic math, algebra, basic accounting and any business courses for older students and i can work around their way of thinking. I hold an Honour's degree (equivalent to a bachelor's degree) in Statistics. During my studies, I was a student assistant for courses in end user computer skills. I've also done one-on-one mathematics tutoring to students from grades 8 to 12 for two years. In the final year of my degree I was a junior lecturer for a semester. I taught Statistics to a class of 60 and achieved a 100% pass rate for the course.
From my experience working with learners/students in both a classroom and a one-on-one capacity, I am comfortable working in either area.
