A Little Bit About Me...

While I was in High School I tutored Elementary students in reading, spelling, science and social studies in all grades. I also tutored high school students in English and math to pass school entry exams. I had a 100% passing rate! During my University career I tutored students in Micro and Macro Economics, all maths, Spanish and Machine Dynamics and Control. I've also received training on how to use different tools to tutor students that understand at different levels. I am very patient and reassuring to students and wait for them to get the answer on their own when tutoring mathematics. I show them how to do it first, then let them try, and then re-explain. We would continue this repetitively with different problems until they can do it independently. It is also important to listen very carefully as to what they are saying.
