A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy teaching and help others learn the subjects of math, science and Spanish. Everyone is different and therefore everyone has a different style of learning. Therefore, my first responsibility as a tutor is to understand the best method of learning of the student and use it to maximize the potential for the student, in grasping the subject. Most are capable of learning better by examples and/or diagrams in the area of physics and math. Therefore, I always use a drawing board to better explain the material and the examples. I served in the US Army Reserves as a JAG Officer; and provided instruction and counsel to many young soldiers. A Little Bit About Me...

I consider myself a facilitator of information more than a teacher. Students must be accountable for their own learning. In math and science, it is important that students know how to apply knowledge rather than merely memorize information. I have always thought of myself as a progressive teacher. I always thought children could learn to do anything they were asked to do.
