I love teaching all ages and skill levels. I adjust my teaching style to the individual - some people are visual learners or oral learners or hands-on learners. I teach by example and try to encourage my students to understand "why" rather than just "how."

I have had about 30 yrs teaching experience in middle school, elementary school and pre-school settings. I have regularly tutored before and after school both individuals as well as groups. Most of my experience has been in the science and math areas with Algebra I being the highest math level I have taught. While pursuing my education degrees, I paid a lot of attention to child development as well as the thinking process.
