My comments on tutoring Writing : I have taught writing for thirty years in various grades from Kindergarten to sixth grade. Also, I have to write assignments in my doctoral degree courses such as literature reviews, discussions, and research articles.

I have tutored in both Robeson County and Cumberland County for a total of six years. I tutored students in math, reading and science from grades Kindergarten to sixth grade. We also prepared students in grades three through six for the End of the Year test. We taught test taking strategies as well. As a tutor at Eastern University I came to the realization that not all students learned in the same way.
