Genetics is one of my top subjects! Similar to experience in Biochemistry, I have practical experience in molecular genetics and studies classical genetics in college.

I took a variety of Biology classes and Labs at WPI mostly focused on Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics. I recently finished my PH.D. where I studied control of viral gene expression. This work encompassed a variety of biological disciplines including virology, cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, and molecular genetics, all of which I am quite experienced in. I also have experience teaching in a seminar format as well as in small groups. As a senior graduate student I was responsible for leading discussions prior to invited speaker seminars.
I believe that stimulating conversation and allowing people to arrive at answers on their own and through experience is the best way to form lasting connections.

While earning my undergraduate degree in Physics, I took advantage of a work-study opportunity at Franklin and Marshall and became a Physics and Chemistry Tutor for the introductory classes. In addition to tutoring science students at college, I also was the TA for a class that explored the role of racism in America's history titled "America in Black and White". Since earning my M.S. from Georgetown University, I have been an adjunct lecturer of Physics and Astronomy at Queensborough Community College and an adjunct lecturer of Chemistry at Dowling College. I graduated Rutgers University majoring in Biology and German, and minoring in Chemistry.
