A Little Bit About Me...

I have just completed a Master's Program in the Arts of Teaching at Sacred Heart University. I completed 10 weeks of student teaching where I took on all the responsibilities of a full time 7th grade English teacher. Throughout all of high school and college I worked with children ages 3-15 and taught them how to swim in a Massachusetts accredited program in my hometown. Here, I was responsible for creating lessons and implementing them everyday in a 2-month summer program. In college, I was a Staff Editor and writer for our Newspaper. College Undergrad Looking to Tutor English Students

Not only was English my favorite subject as well as the one I was most proficient in in high school, it eventually became my major in college. I majored in Journalism at The University of New Hampshire, and while I have not yet received my Bachelor's of Arts from the institution I am a mere handful of credits away from earning it (9, to be exact), an accomplishment I am attempting to achieve by transferring credits over from The Community College of Rhode Island. Individualized instruction

As far as teaching goes, I am mostly here to help the person with the way they write their papers, organization of paragraphs, spelling, whether or not the writing makes sense to the reader, and whether or not the reading understands what is written.
