A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated with honors from a formal university, where I tutored fellow classmates; however, I gained most of my tutoring and teaching experience overseas, in a universal classroom. I have taught youth and adults in Mexico, Spain, Chad, Benin, Morocco and other countries. In most of those cases I was teaching English, but I also taught key aspects of health, sustainable development, lifelong skills and leadership. I taught classes ranging in size between 5 and 100. I am an accomplished writer and enjoy tutoring in English composition, literature and grammar, as well as foreign language. I believe strongly in education and deem that it is a catalyst for growth, change and success, whether for an individual or a nation.

I enjoy teaching and working with all children. I have been a Substitute teacher in Hampden County, MA and most recently worked as a Counselor for a group home in which the children needed support on a daily basis with their schoolwork. What I have gained from these experiences is that any child can succeed with patience and with the right resources. I have earned a Bachelors Degree in History which has enabled me to gain understanding in many areas of sociology and geography.
