A Little Bit About Me...
Along with 7 other students, I was directly hired out of college
to teach 7th grade English. Along with my 4 years of Latin
experience, it increased my abilities in the grammatical aspect
of the English language. I also tutored college students while I was attending in first yr Latin and math. I took 4 yrs of French in high school, graduated Shenendehowa in 1974. I enjoy
working with kids in small groups or one on one. I am a mother
of 11 children, the youngest is now 7. I also believe I could assist a first year algebra student or younger.
I love and respect all children and try to meet them where they
are. I am very perceptive at times and don't give up easy. If
one thing doesn't work, I'd try another. I believe in good
education that develops the person, not just prepare them to
contribute to society and to make a living.
