Psychology is one of my top subjects! I am a 4.0 student majoring in Cognitive Psychology. The courses available for tutoring are: General Psychology (and below for high school students), child psychology, adolescent psychology, biological/physiological psychology and human cognitive behaviors. My approach is multimodal as all students are different. The one consistent element is that of an active learning environment. Passive memorization and repetitive tasks are not part of my repertoire as both have usually been unsuccessfully attempted by those seeking tutoring. A Little Bit About Me...

In 2002 I graduated with a degree in biotechnology. During the last semester of school, I was a substitute teacher, where I learned a lot about children and different teaching styles. After graduation, I pursued a career as a chemist, but I always maintained a second part-time job teaching, in some fashion. Usually, that teaching involved a pool. I have been a swimming lesson instructor for 10 years and have been a YMCA swim coach for 3 seasons, coaching over 200 children per year.
