I work with students on a hands on, personalized instructional manner. I teach study skills as well as subject knowledge. I have worked with children throughout college, both in academic and nonacademic settings. I worked on a family literacy program at the Mississippi Childrens Museum, called Planting the Seeds to Read, which entailed teaching children literacy skills and coaching parents in literacy strategies for home. Earned Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education from University of Memphis in 1991. Taught in preschool from 1992 until 1993 in Concord, CA.
