I first ask questions to get familiar with my students teaching style and their problem areas and what they're struggling with. I am very visual so any time I can explain something using a picture, etc, I do. I am very patient and understanding.

A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 2008 with a degree in Music performance. During my time at Oklahoma Christian, I played bass in the jazz band, string ensemble, and several other university performances. I also studied classical and jazz guitar during my time at Oklahoma Christian University, and studied under David Brandon here in Lubbock before leaving for school in Oklahoma. During my time at Oklahoma Christian University, I took advantage of opportunities to help international students with their English. I also went abroad on summer internships with Let's Start Talking where I was able to assist several students from Belgium, Rwanda and South Africa with their English proficiency. I have never been paid to tutor someone. My experience is limited to helping my mom with math problems, that deal with algebra based questions. I have helped her with her homework, the questions she received wrong when she gets her tests wrong, as well as explaining how to solve a particular problem.
"See one, do one". I like show how to do an example, then i would like the student to do a similar example on their own.
