I prefer a hands on method where I give the student examples and I watch as they work through them. This is especially true in Math. I have found the best way for a student to learn is to correct mistakes as they go. Through repition this will bring success.
I have found over the course of my schoolwork that I excelled most in math. I would consider myself a strong candidate for your child's tutor in this subject. I have helped her with her homework, the questions she received wrong when she gets her tests wrong, as well as explaining how to solve a particular problem.

As a student I was always helping my friends and brothers with their school work, especially math. While in graduate school working on my Masters degree I tutored for the athletic department and even tutored some of my classmates who were college professors working on their PhD's.
