My teaching style is tailored to each individual student's personality, etc. In May of 2010, I graduated with my B.S. Degree in Psychology and Sociology from Louisiana State University. In December 2012, I graduated from Nicholls State University with my M.A. Degree in Psychological Counseling. I was a substitute teacher at Ascension of Our Lord School for one year and taught all grade levels. While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I was the caregiver to an ADD/ADHD for one year. In addition, during my Master's Degree Internship, I provided counseling services to individuals, families, and groups of all ages, including special education children.

I try to keep the material fresh and I avoid boredom and repetition at all costs. One of my best tools to connect with a young person is through humor. If the student feels relaxed they are more likely to absorb the information. I also use reverse psychology to turn the tables so they actually find themselves teaching me the material.
