Drawing is one of my top subjects! Bachelor of Fine Arts degree form University of South Carolina, Studio Art Major with a concentration in Drawing.

I believe that the most important aspect to art education is individual expression. Children and artists alike must understand that art is subjective, and the beauty of their work lies in it's meaning and purpose. However, I do believe in working hard to improve on personal studio skills. I teach the fundamentals: line, tone, perspective, space, volume. Once students understand the basics, there will be no limits as to how much they can create. I am also a firm believer in collaboration. Have been tutoring for twenty years, and have also taught on a college level for ten. I have taught in a variety of contexts, such as one-on-one, kid's day camp, online and ongoing workshops.
