For over twenty years I have taught at the college level, with extensive expertise in teaching the liberal arts to engineering majors. My teaching style is adapted to meet the student’s needs. I firmly believe that each child learns differently. I think students either learn kinesthetically, visually, or auditorally, for the most part. I think it is my job as a teacher to find out which style best suits the student and adapt my style accordingly. I also think that while I am trying to help students develop skills in their weak areas, I need to be focusing on their strengths and building their self-esteem.
