A Little Bit About Me...
As an English graduate, I have always been interested in reading and interpretation of texts. Be it a poem, an essay, or a novel, I find it immensely satisfying to examine the laws and cultural contexts of the text. Rigorous analysis of the great works of literature has disciplined me to pay attention to how I write and to use this knowledge in helping others write clearly and coherently. Throughout my career as a graduate student, I have taught writing in a variety of courses: College Composition, Introduction to Poetry, and Introduction to Film.
I have mostly worked with college students, teaching writing and introduction to literature courses. As a college instructor, I stressed the importance of grammatically correct writing for the person’s career inside and outside college.
