I have had experience as a substitute teacher in a public school system, I have had numerous tutoring opportunities with children of all ages, including college level students. I have studied in the College of Education at Mississippi State University where I learned many effective teaching strategies for all ages of students.

However my certification has expired. I have taught both in the private and public sectors of education. I graduated a member of Kappa Delta Pi, as an international honor society. I graduated with a 3.9 G.P.A. I have also worked as a tutor many times within my career. I also worked with troubled teens as a therapeutic foster parent. I have taught all sciences, math, English, literature, reading, history, geography, geology, and religion.

I earned two bachelor degrees, BS in Social Counseling and BS in Behavioral Management, which has lead me into the helping profession. I also possess an AA degree in juvenile delinquency, which helps me deal with even the most difficult children of all ages. I come into contact with a variety of different students with different areas of interest as a public speaking teacher. My teaching philosophy is to recognize that every student needs, wants, and gets something different from their studies, and it is my job to help them do just that. Rather than conduct a “one size fits all” class, I work with my students individually to guide them in their research and help them get the most out of their speeches.
