I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Deaf Education. I loved working with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, but it was extremely hard finding a job doing that in my area. Due to that fact, I started tutoring as many kids from the local schools as much as possible and I loved doing it. That also motivated me to work on adding endorsements to my teaching license so that I can teach regular education as well. I’ve added Special Education (k-12) and Social Studies (7-12) and I am working on adding English and Math as well. I am excited about given the opportunity to work in the school system. I believe that all children should learn no matter what their ability or disability may be. Throughout my matriculation at Tougaloo College, we have always been taught to be critical thinkers and to be professional. Working as a Musician has been the greatest achievement of my life. I have been a Musician for 10 years. My work speaks for itself. I have been working with all type of ages and youth.
