My comments on tutoring English : I have taught up to 6th grade.

Owned and operated my own daycare for 18 years, then went back to school to obtain my degree. I have attended various workshops as well as researching many Internet learning websites. I try to engage my students in every way possible. Reading and reciting are great for vocabulary memorization, but I try very hard to bring the subject matter to life in a meaningful way to the student. Pictures, music, relevant historical information- anything to help facilitate learning.
