German is one of my top subjects! German native speaker, English speaker for more than 20 years.

I like to work with flash cards, books, but also a lot of oral training. I am able to provide materials depending on the learning style you are most comfortable with (e.g. oral, written, visual, audio).
I have been tutoring and teaching kids at varying degrees in English during my time in School. I have also tutored privately in German, adults and kids alike. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching 3rd grade Sunday School for two years. I have been assisting my children in an educational capacity for over 7 years. I have experience in a preschool setting, volunteering with children ages 3-13, and also as a tutor to dyslexic and ADD/ADHD children. I am also a writer currently engaged in finishing my first novel.
I believe in teaching with love, enthusiasm, compassion, understanding, excitement, and discipline. You must keep an open mind, open heart, and open arms to be truly successful. I employ a variety of educational styles in an attempt to engage all types of learners, with a heavy emphacis on hands-on activites. I am not afraid to try new whings, nor am I afraid to try again if something doesn't work out as well as planned. I try also to treat each student as an individual while still adhering to basic group rules of conduct and respect.
