I have been involved in higher education since my 2nd year of college. I also have been involved in helping local elementary, junior high, and high school students in the areas of the sciences, computer technology, and math. I would have taught high school but I found higher ed to be more interesting. I have a BS in Biology with a minor in Computer Science. I also have a M.Ed. in Education Administration and Supervision with 17 graduate hours of Biology. I am a stickler for proper sentence structure, grammar, and spelling; I believe that a command of written English can open doors in life which appeared previously to be intractably sealed, and can create either employment or advancement opportunities which might not otherwise have been possible. An obvious example is how a well-written resume and cover letter will many times make all the difference in whether or not you find yourself in front of the interviewer.
