As a Research Scientist in Corporate America, I took the opportunity to focus on enhancing the math and science education of high, middle, and elementary school students. In addition to hands-on classroom activities, I was involved in the Program In Rochester to Interest Students in Science and Math (PRISSM), judged Science Fairs and Science Competitions. Because of my goal of enhancing student achievement, I have taught Chemistry at the Junior College level for the past eight years. Having graduated from a Masters in the Arts of Teaching (Adolescent Science - Physics) program in the summer of 2009, I am not only well versed in the structure of New York State Regents Exams but am also up to date with many modern teaching and assessment techniques.
