Anatomy is one of my top subjects! With Biology being one of my Top Subjects it is easy to understand why Anatomy is as well. Anatomy and Biology go hand in hand together in the sense of how cells and the body works. I am able to lead students through an adventure of the body starting from the cell to all the functions of the body.

My teaching style is very student-centered and patient. My students say I make biology and science in general seem easy. I break complicated material into small easy-to-understand pieces. I have one semester of college academic classroom instruction experience and over three years of tutoring experience. I have helped hundreds of students raise their level of understanding, grades and test scores. I have worked with students from 7 years old to returning students in their 50's! I love teaching science, helping with reports, and helping students get a better understanding of subjects they just don't understand. My comments on tutoring Anatomy : Great look at the structure of animals.

I obtained a B.S. in Biology, with a concentration in aquatic science, from Wittenberg University in 2006. During my undergraduate studies, I tutored elementary students in math and science twice a week for two years. After college, I moved into the marine science profession. In August of 2008, I started teaching High School Biology I, Earth and Space Science, and Physical Science to students in Polk County. In addition, after school hours were spent with two students taking AP Biology classes. Both students achieved a 4 or higher on their placement exams.
