Math Science and History

I got 760 in my PSAT test I tutored my geometry teachers son and raised him from failing to a b level in 4 months. I got my CSET in History and Chemistry. I have all my crendentile classes done at CSULB. I left Long Beach before i could do my student teaching. In my Geometry class my teacher would have problems on his board and call on three or four students to try before he had me do it.

Experienced math tutor

I believe that all students can learn with a patient tutor. I enjoy seeing students develop an understanding of mathematical concepts and methods. I try to avoid lecturing, but have students come up with the methods of solving problems by themselves (with occasional hints or pointing in the right direction by me). I also emphasize problem solving and developing problem solving skills. One of my mentors taught me the mantra, "When you can solve one problems, you can solve hundreds just like it."
