I love interacting with people. I like to think of myself as a people person and I've come to love teaching my classmates when they don't quite understand as well as I do. I think everyone has the ability to learn, it's just a matter of understand how we learn. Some soak it up just by listening in the classroom, some need to spend time on their own working through assignments so they can learn it through repetition. I would be most comfortable tutoring if I had access to the student's teacher's syllabus, textbooks and /or student classwork, quizzes and exams. My goal would be to reinforce the areas that are being covered in the classroom to help the student achieve better understanding of the coursework.
