A Little Bit About Me...

I greatly enjoy teaching and working with students, from children to adults. I am patient and understanding and believe in positive reinforcement to motivate students. I am a professional with a B.S. degree and with 18 years experience in the health science field. I also have extensive experience in various areas of business. My teaching style is one of friendly leadership. Working through problems or lessons with the student by leading them through it, then working it with them side by side while explaining the details helps them achieve the accomplishment of learning without making them feel as if they were just instructed how to do it. Helping a student learn is more than just teaching them a lesson in math, science, or English; it’s about being someone that they can look up to as a role model, being someone that they can learn from in more than just an academic manner, and being someone who is there for them when they need something.
