I recently completed a 90 page thesis. I have excellent critical thinking and writing skills, which have served me well as a student. Often people will not consider an infant or toddler a "functioning human being" until the child can speak. This is so inaccurate! I taught one of my daughters to read at age four. My teaching style is to engage the student on a personal level through cheerful conversation and sharing of interests, then to assess learning styles, strengths, and challenges.
