A Little Bit About Me...

I began school as a Biology major for 2 years, so I have a great science background. I love to teach children. I finished my Masters program in December 07 and began teaching at the school I did my internship at, Briarcliff MS. I taught grades 6-8 and filled in for a Special Ed teacher at the end of the year. Also during that time I tutored a group of 6 graders in Math.
I don't think there is anything better than the feeling of helping a child learn. Every student have the ability to learn, we have to adapt our teaching styles so that all students can understand. Ever since I volunteered at Guilderland High School where I helped children with homework, I love teaching and being around with children. Once you put the effort into their learning and be there with them one step at a time until they finally understand the concept and/or get the answer, it is an amazing feeling.
I recently graduated from Syracuse University. I majored in finance and marketing management with a minor in information technology.
