A Little Bit About Me...

In addition to my work experience, I used to work as a full time Au Pair (nanny)for a family in Northport and cared for children between the age of one and nine years. Therefore, I am very confident in working with children. I love teaching and being with children. It makes me very happy to see how fast they learn certain things. When it comes to languages, I think it is amazing how fast children learn a second laguage at a very young age. My passion for learning is only exceeded by my passion for teaching others. I have received a well-rounded, liberal arts education. I have learned French for 9.5 years and spent 3 months studying in France. I have taken modern Hebrew for 2.5 years in college. I was accepted to the English Teaching Assistantship program in France where I will teach English to French children this coming year.
I am a patient learner and a patient teacher. First I see how children learn the best, and then, I decide the best way to teach them.
