A Little Bit About Me...

After graduating college I taught elementary K-8th grade in NYC. I taught for one year and decided to live Paris, France teaching English. I lived in Paris, France for 1.5 years then moved to Rome, Italy, again teaching English. My experiences were wonderful as I met people who really enjoyed learning English and needed it for work. After 6 months I returned to the states and taught at a Junior High School on the Lower eastside of NYC. I left teaching after 10 years to market computers. My skills as an educator served me well and I did extremely well. After approximately 8 years I decided I wanted to go back to teaching, and have been teaching the use of computers. I have been working as a company CFO and VP Finance in excess of 40 years. There is virtually nothing I do not know regarding accounting and finance. This will provide students with real world experience as well as the principals required in a course study. I also have expert experience in Excel and Word. In addition, during this time I have been instrumental in tutoring employees who have worked for me. This numbers in the hundreds over the years. I have earned a Bachelors Degree in History which has enabled me to gain understanding in many areas of sociology and geography. In addition, I'm a native Portuguese speaker and am able to understand, speak and read, Spanish and French. During the last 3 years, I have tutored students in Portuguese, Spanish and French and assisted elementary students with their homework assignments.
I enjoy teaching and working with all children.
